Welcome to our school library
Welcome to the Chief Peguis library and to our information literacy program. We believe that every student should have the skills necessary to navigate in today's information-rich society. Determining information needs, recognizing and selecting appropriate resources - whether print or online and managing the information are fundamental skills needed for successful academic research.

Library Hours
Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Open daily at lunch from 11:45-12:15.
Lending Policies
· Students can keep library books for a period of 2 school cycles
· Students can take out 2 books at a time
· Students can renew a book up to 2 times
· Students will not be charged over due fees, as long as the book is returned
· Replacement costs will apply to all lost books
About Our Library
The Chief Peguis Library is a busy place, always full of students doing school work, reading or trying to find a good book. We encourage students and staff to treat the space as a functional learning environment where print and digital resources can be used and shared. Our library is a place where conversations and discussions take place, where learning is shared and where students go to seek out new knowledge, new books and new experiences.
