May 14 - 18 will be remembered as Green Action days. Ms. Mary Melnychuk, from Green Action Centre, met with all classes. Her presentations were related to our Science curriculum. Kindergarten students learned about recycling. In Grade One, discussions were about litterless lunches. Grade Two students talked about water and Grade Three studens saw how vermicompost works. Ms. Mary shared with Grade Four classes what happens to objects we put in the blue boxes.
Classes really enjoyed her enthusiasm. The presentation were great learning experiences for all. Thank you, Mrs. Mary Melnychuk. Thanks also Mme Chaput for organizing these two days.
