On Friday, October 3rd, our Grade Three students visited the Living Prairie Museum. While at the Museum, students were given the opportunity to get dirty as they explored the diversity of life underground. They also observed plant characteristics and became familiar with the variety of life on the prairies. We had two indoor presentations, a guided prairie hike, and a few experiments. This outing was an excellent hands-on compliment to our Grade Three Science units, “Soils in the Environment” and “Growth and Changes in Plants”.
Bravo students for the good participation! Thank you to all parents who were able to volunteer.
