Our Grade 7 students will again be partnering up with the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) to prepare relief kits for countries that have been ravaged by natural disasters. Through our social studies curriculum, we will be learning about life conditions in other countries. We will also have the pleasure of inviting representatives from MCC to the school to share their first-hand experiences of working in different parts of the world. Our students will then be ready to take action! They will raise money and gather items to assemble relief kits to send to countries that need them the most. Our first fundraiser will be in February for Valentine’s Day. Stay tuned for more information!
