Winter Band Concert

Congratulations to all the students who performed at the Winter Concert on January 18th. It was a great evening where students showcased their musical talents. Spirit Week/Bruhaha
The last week before winter break was Spirit Week. Every day of the week had a different theme, and classes were awarded points for participation. Students dressed in pajamas on Monday, came to school in mustaches on Tuesday, dressed formally on Wednesday, wore numbers on Thursday, and a variety of colours on Friday. Transcona Open

Friday, November 6th and Saturday, November 7th École Regent Park hosted its annual Transcona Open volleyball tournament at Murdock Mackay Collegiate.  Twenty four teams from all over Winnipeg participated in this two day tournament for both grade 7 and grade 8 school teams. Family Fun Night

Family Fun Night lived up to its name…there was a lot of fun to be had by everyone.  We had about 20 adults and children in attendance last Thursday evening.  There was an activity room set up for those 8 years old and under and was hosted by two grade eight leadership students, Dori and Rayanne.
