The last week before winter break was Spirit Week. Every day of the week had a different theme, and classes were awarded points for participation. Students dressed in pajamas on Monday, came to school in mustaches on Tuesday, dressed formally on Wednesday, wore numbers on Thursday, and a variety of colours on Friday. Also, Thursday and Friday two students from each class had the chance to play hockey against a team of teachers during the lunch hour breaks. School unity was at an all-time high!
The week ended with a Bruhaha (gym riot) where students participated in a variety of activities, again to earn points for the classroom. 7 Moore, 6 Fuhro, 8 Santos and 7 Grimard were the leaders going into the Bruhaha seperated only by 40 points. However, 7 Peters fought back earning the most points by the end of the Bruhaha.
