• A maximum of three awards may be given in each class in grades 4 - 6.

Student of the Year

• Academic achievement (B or better)
• Participation in school activities
• Leadership
• A positive attitude
• Athletic ability/sportsmanship
• Involvement in the music program
• One award is presented to a student in Grade 6

Patrol of the Year

• Presented to one patrol per year who is: dependable (never misses a duty, at post on time)
• Positive (enthusiastic towards the job)
• Responsible (takes care of equipment)
• Extraordinary efforts (volunteers to go on post as a spare) excellent performance (competent)
