JWG Celebrates a Day of Pink

On April 10^th, students celebrated a Day of Pink in support of Anti-Bullying. There were more than 350 schools throughout Manitoba participating and over 17,500 people wearing pink shirts to stand up for respect and to bring awareness to the impact of bullying. At John W. Gunn School, all students attended various presentations from guest speakers that included Robb Nash and Rachel Ashley. Various Anti-Bullying commercials and videos were shown and discussed as a class. Students were also given a Bullying Survey with results that will be shared in the upcoming JWG Newsletter. We live in a bullying generation but by standing up against bullies and not being silent, we can make a difference.

New Bike Helmet Law Effective May 1st, 2013 by growe	4/30/2013 2:22 PM
