Patrol Captain Wins Award!
Recently, Shaylee Quill was honoured at the City-Wide Patrol Awards at the Convention Center. Ms. Gross nominated her for the Louise Staples Award. This award is given annually to the top patrol captain. Louise Staples was a teacher who initiated the patrol program. To commemorate this momentous achievement, the Louise Staples Award was developed. Shaylee was given a beautiful framed certificate, a trophy, an IPod Touch and a plaque engraved with her name to be displayed at the school for the year! Shaylee will also be interviewed by CJOB, she will also be attending the May 30th Goldeyes game and will enjoy the game from boxseats and throwing out the first pitch! The event at the Convention Center will be featured in the Winnipeg Free press on Friday, May 18th. Congratulations Shaylee, we are extremely proud of you!
